A traditional veneer saw has a wooden handle with a curved metal plate set into it. The blade is mounted on this plate and secured using 3 screws. The blade is slightly longer than the backing plate, so the teeth can reach the material. | |||

Removing the blade |

Step 1 – Loosen screwsLoosen the screws holding the blade to the backing plate. |

Step 2 – Slide blade forwardsOnce the screws are loosened you can slide the blade forwards… |

Step 3 – Pull blade off backing plate…and pull it off the backing plate. |

Step 1 – Place blade onto backing plateEnsure the screws on the blade are loosened before sliding it onto the backing plate. |
