How is the blade attached?
A traditional veneer saw has a wooden handle with a curved metal plate set into it. The blade is mounted on this plate and secured using 3 screws. The blade is slightly longer than the backing plate, so the teeth can reach the material.

Removing the blade
Step 1 – Loosen screws
Loosen the screws holding the blade to the backing plate.
Step 2 – Slide blade forwards
Once the screws are loosened you can slide the blade forwards…
Step 3 – Pull blade off backing plate
…and pull it off the backing plate.
Installing the blade
Step 1 – Place blade onto backing plate
Ensure the screws on the blade are loosened before sliding it onto the backing plate.
