However…Cordless impact drivers are more expensive and weigh more. They are also designed mainly for driving larger screws into tougher materials. If you want to insert or remove smaller screws into softer materials or pilot holes, a cordless impact driver may be too powerful, making it very easy to strip screw heads or damage work surfaces. |
