A flat surform file is available in the two following lengths:
335mm (13″ approx.), using a 140mm (5.5″ approx.) blade. 440mm (17″ approx.), using a 250mm (10″ approx.) blade. |

A round surform file differs slightly, as it is the only type which has a blade narrower than the standard width.
The dimensions of a round surform file are as follows: 365mm (14″ approx.) in length, using a 250mm (10″ approx.) blade. 15mm (0.5″ approx.) in width. |
