A swivel head pin vice is the most common form of pin vice. It is most commonly made from steel, possibly with a nickel plating, but is also available in aluminium. Nickel-plated and aluminium vices will be rust-resistant.
Swivel head pin vices are around 100mm (4″) in length and normally come with two doubled-ended collets, which can be stored in the handle.
How is it used?
The swivel head pin vice is used by holding the swivel head in the palm of your hand, gripping the vice in the centre and turning with your thimb and index finger.
