swivel head pin vice A swivel head pin vice is the most common form of pin vice. It is most commonly made from steel, possibly with a nickel plating, but is also available in aluminium. Nickel-plated and aluminium vices will be rust-resistant.
Double ended collets Swivel head pin vices are around 100mm (4″) in length and normally come with two doubled-ended collets, which can be stored in the handle.
