Most models of inspection camera are capable of capturing still images, much like an ordinary camera, and saving them onto the device’s internal memory or an SD memory card.
This is a useful feature to have when you want to take another look at what the camera has found during an inspection.
Step 1 – Inspect
Use your camera to inspect the area.
Step 2 – Take photo
To take a photo, simply press the button with the symbol of a camera on it. Hold the button down until the image has been captured.
Step 3 – Review
You can review the photos you have taken by pressing the play symbol, which will take you to your folder. The photos in the folder are usually organised by date and time.
Step 4 – Transfer
If you wish to store your images permanently, you can transfer them onto a computer using the SD card or a USB cable.
Step 5 – Delete
Alternatively, if you do not wish to keep the photo any longer, you can delete it by pressing the button with a bin symbol on it.
