Campingaz regulators and cylinders originated in France in the early part of the 20th century. They are low pressure devices used chiefly by campers and caravanners to power appliances such as outdoor grills, cookers, fridges and heaters.
The cylinders are more expensive than UK Calor ones, but are a good choice for European holidays as they are widely available.
Campingaz regulators are very easy to use, with a simple screw-in connection and a control knob for switching the gas supply on and off. They will fit any refillable Campingaz cylinder.
