Inspect your gas hose every time you use it for signs of wear such as cracks, flat spots, kinks, stretched sections and any chemical damage, for instance through oil dripping onto it.
If you have a high pressure hose assembly, also replace any worn out or missing sealing washers and make sure the connectors and ferrules are still rust-free and secure.
Wipe the hose completely dry after use. The rubber could start to rot in damp conditions.
