A combined feeler gauge includes both imperial and metric units somewhere on the tool. It s particularly useful to have measurements in both units so you do not have to buy two separate tools (unless you are particularly good at converting the units).
How are combined feeler gauges layed out?
One distinct design includes metric blades at one end of the tool and imperial at the other.
Metric and imperial sizes are sometimes etched together on the same side of the same blade or leaf.
Metric and imperial units may also appear on alternate sides of the same leaf.
