Most pole sander heads have a screw fit attachment which can be connected to a pole sander handle.
The sander head can have either a male or female thread, and a handle will need to have a thread of the opposite gender to be compatible. If the handle is not compatible with the sander head, for example if you have two male-threaded parts, then an adapter can be used in between.
Step 1 – Insert joint
Start by inserting the screw fit joint on the sander head into the end of the handle.
Step 2 – Fasten
Fasten the two parts together by screwing the joint into the handle, twisting it in a clockwise direction.
The two parts are now securely joined and the tool is ready to be used for sanding.
