| Deburring tools require virtually no maintenance or specific care, but a little attention may help to prolong the life of the tool. | ||||
Cleaning and lubrication |

After use, the deburring tool should be wiped down and, if available, a small amount of oil or a specific rust inhibitor (oil based spray designed to prevent rusting) should be applied to the tool to prevent corrosion. | |||
Storage |

Deburring tools are best stored in their original box or in wax paper, which can sometimes be supplied with the tool.
They should be kept in a dry place, where they won’t be knocked or damaged. |
