Attaching webbing to one end of furniture with staples so it can be stretched out using a web stretcher

Step 1 – Attach webbing

Place one end of the webbing across the frame of the piece of furniture or project you wish to upholster and secure one end in place with staples or nails.

Measure out webbing across the length of your furniture so it is ready to be pulled tight by the web stretcher

Step 2 – Pull out webbing

Pull the webbing across the frame to keep it tight and hold over the opposite end of the furniture, ready to be stretched.

Step 3 – Attach web stretcher

Place the rubber tip of the gooseneck web stretcher up against your object and pull the webbing over the spikes, making sure the spikes go fully through the webbing.

Step 4 – Stretch webbing

Pull the handle down to stretch out the webbing until it is taut and hold it tight.

Step 5 – Secure webbing

Whilst keeping the webbing taut, secure the webbing to the furniture with nails or staples. Cut off any excess webbing.
