How to use a magnetic claw hand magnet

Step 1 – Place magnetic claw onto steel

If you are using a single magnetic claw hand magnet, place it directly in the centre of the sheet steel.

If you are lifting a very large piece of sheet steel, place two magnetic claws on either end of the steel sheet. 

Step 2 – Lift sheet steel

Lift and carry the sheet steel to the desired location by holding onto the handles of the magnetic claw.

Step 3 – Release steel from magnetic claw

To release the magnetic claw from the sheet steel, use the magnet’s release mechanism. The release mechanism works by either folding the handle downwards towards the magnet base so that the tip of the handle is touching the magnet’s casing, twisting the handle anti-clockwise, or pushing down on the handle. 

To use the magnet again, simply place the release handle back into its original position.
