Place two lift hand magnets, one on either end, onto a piece of sheet steel.
The number of lift hand magnets you choose to lift your piece of sheet steel depends on the width of the sheet steel. If the piece of sheet steel is very wide then two lift hand magnets will be needed to help lift the sheet of steel.
However, if the sheet steel has a smaller width, then a single lift hand magnet placed in the centre of the steel sheet should be sufficient.
Step 2 – Lift sheet steel
Lift the piece of sheet steel to the desired location by holding the handles of the lift hand magnet.
Step 3 – Release lift hand magnets from steel
When you have finished using the lift hand magnets, you will have to remove them from the sheet steel.
For a standard lift hand magnet, a black rubber mallet will be required to knock the hand magnet off the steel sideways. The black rubber mallet will be able to give the magnet a gentle but firm blow without damaging the magnet’s casing.
If using a trigger lift hand magnet, pull the trigger towards the handle, to pry the magnet off the steel surface before lifting it away.
