Brick rakes are hand-operated tools. They are useful for work on listed or period properties or for applications where you do not want to run the risk of damaging the brick face, which can happen easily with some power tools / chisels.
Brick rakes are usually made out of aluminium and are therefore lightweight. As a result they are easier to lift or operate than heavy power tools.
Brick rakes are relatively simple to use and set up.
As the brick rake is hand-operated, there are no power tools to be bought and therefore no extra costs!
