The way pinless moisture meters are used can slightly vary between models. However the method should be similar to the following. | |||

Step 1 – Set moisture meterTurn on the moisture meter and ensure it is on the mode you will be needing. The device may then need a few seconds to calibrate. This varies from model to model and may not be necessary at all. Follow the instructions provided with your moisture meter. |

Step 2 – Place moisture meterPlace the moisture meter sensor down on to the test material. Apply slight pressure, so there is no air gap between sensor and material. |

Step 3 – Take readingTake note of the value on the screen and whether the reading is in reference or percentage form. |

Step 4 – Move moisture meterThe moisture meter can be slid or moved to a new position for more readings. |
