Riveters are available in different designs which make them suitable for particular applications.
Standard riveter
This type of riveter is a basic two-handled tool. It comes with changeable nozzles so you are able to install rivets of different sizes.
Long arm or two-handed riveter
Long-arm riveters are designed to provide greater leverage when installing larger rivets.
The long arms of the riveter also provide extra reach without the user stretching or having to installing rivets while in an uncomfortable position.
These types of riveter are also used to make riveting easier. Being able to use two hands to squeeze the handles gives the user the ability to apply more pressure.
Lazy tong riveter
The lazy tong riveter has an extending body, in the form of a metal “lattice”. Extending and reducing the length of the lattice by pulling and pushing on the handle closes and opens the handles to insert a rivet.
Long nose riveter
The long nose on this type of riveter is useful for accessing recessed areas.
