The base can also be used for holding lights in position e.g. on machines where light is needed in specific areas for the operator to see.
Magnifying glasses can also be mounted on magnetic bases, for example, if the user is working on small hard to see items.
Magnetic bases can be fitted with coolant hose attachments. This type of base could be used on a machine that requires coolant but in places where the standard fitted hose doesn’t reach.
