drywall scoring square A drywall scoring square comprises a ruler and a plastic head which sits on the top of a plasterboard sheet. It has a handle in the centre of the head which is used to pull the square along the sheet while your knife, in your other hand, scores and cuts the sheet.
The ruler has holes to hold the knife securely.
