Batten lifter handle
A batten lifter has a handle at one end of the shaft. Some batten lifters have a rubber grip that forms the handle.
Batten lifter prongs
At the opposite end to the handle are two prongs, which connect with and lift battens.
Batten lifter shaft
A batten lifter has a straight shaft that is long enough to apply sufficient leverage to lift the battens.
