Use a cloth to dry and wipe your batten lifter after you have finished using it. Keep it stored in a dry place to prevent rusting, and use it only for the purpose of lifting battens to prolong its life. You could also re-touch the paintwork where scratches have occurred, to prevent rusting. | |||
