Step 1 – Hold batten lifterHold the batten lifter by the handle, in an upright position, and move the prongs underneath the batten that is to be lifted, at the point where a nail has been used to secure the batten in place against a rafter. |

Step 2 – Prise battenPush down on the batten lifter in order to prise the batten away from the roof. |

Step 3 – Lift battenRepeat the process to keep removing all of the battens from the roof. |
