How to use a belt oil filter wrench?

Step 1 – Position belt
Place the belt over the oil filter. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 2 – Line up centre pad
Line up the centre of the oil filter with the centre of the pad. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 3 – Turn handle
Begin turning the handle clockwise to tighten the belt around the filter. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 4 – Turn oil filter wrench
Once the belt is securely around the filter, turn the wrench anti-clockwise, until the filter starts to loosen. |

|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 5 – Remove oil filter
Keep turning the wrench anti-clockwise until it can be completely removed. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 6 – Release belt
To remove the oil filter from the wrench, turn the handle anti-clockwise to release the belt. |
