A very fine-toothed handsaw can be used to cut laminate, however, this creates dust and will not create as clean a cut as the laminate floor cutter.
Wonkee Donkee top tip:When sawing, you should always saw with the finished side up. |

Jigsaws |

A speciality blade must be used if cutting laminate with a jigsaw. The teeth on the blade are reversed (pointing downwards instead of the usual upwards) and this helps to minimise splintering on the finished side of the laminate (again saw with the finish side up).Jigsaws also create dust and the blade will eventually become blunt and need replacing. | |||
