Inspection mirrors with magnetic bases are different from other inspection mirrors in that they are hands-free.
The magnetic base allows the mirror to be temporarily attached to a surface so it can give a greater view while the user works. These types are often used by engineers and mechanics. |

With these mirrors, the size is measured from the base of the magnet to the bottom of the mirror head with the shaft fully straight.
Currently, they are only available with an 11.4cm (4.5″) shaft length. |

Inspection mirrors with magnetic bases are available with both round and square mirror heads.
The round mirror head is available with a diameter of either: 57mm (2.2″) or 82mm (3.2″). The square mirror head is currently available in two sizes: 54mm (2.1″) x 88.9mm (3.5″) and 88.9mm (2.5″) x 51mm (2″). |
