How to use cranked seaming pliers?

Shop for Seaming Pliers

Step 1 – Hold pliers and sheet metal

Take hold of the cranked seaming pliers and the sheet metal that you are going to be working with.

Step 2 – Grasp seam of sheet metal

Grasp a section of the sheet metal seam between the jaws of the seaming pliers and close the handles together, holding it firmly in place.

Step 3 – Bend seam of sheet metal

Exert pressure on the handles of the seaming pliers in order to bend the sheet metal.

Step 4 – Continue bending sheet metal

Keep moving the seaming pliers along the seam, opening and closing the handles and bending each small section of the sheet metal between the jaws until you have reached the end of the seam.
