How to bleed a trolley jack?

Step 1 – Attach handle
First, place the the handle into the socket, turning it anti-clockwise no more than one complete turn. |

|
|

Step 2 – Remove filler plug
Remove the filler screw or plug. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 3 – Pump jack
Pump the jack handle several times to force any air that may be trapped out of the jack. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 4 – Turn handle
Turn the handle clockwise so it can be removed. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 5 – Replace filler plug
Replace the filler screw or plug. |
