Step 1 – Position folding square

Place the folding square onto the workpiece.

Step 2 – Line up folding square

Line up the right angle of the folding square with the bottom of the workpiece. This will provide a square cutting guide.

Step 3 – Mark workpiece

Using a pencil, mark a line across the workpiece to show where you want the cut to be made.

Step 4 – Line up saw

Line up the edge of the saw with the folding square. Allow enough room so that you can manoeuvre the saw and align the blade with the pencil mark.

Step 5 – Cut workpiece

Hold the folding square against the workpiece and run the saw all the way along the pencil line.
