Blade on a slate guillotine

Step 1 – Remove old blade

Using a screwdriver, unscrew each of the screws around the blade that hold it in place. Remove the blade.

Step 2 – Insert new blade

Insert the new blade between the two edges of the handle, closest to the cutting end, with the screw holes lined up with the holes on the handle and base. This means that the cutting edge of the blade will face downwards towards the slate.

Step 3 – Re-tighten screws

Replace and re-tighten each of the the screws.
