The punch pin may need to be replaced due to heavy use over a long period of time, or if it is broken. This is the replacement pin for a slate and punch cutter. Please note – This is a little more difficult to replace, as the whole tool has to be taken apart. | |||

Step 1 – Remove screwsRemove all of the screws holding the cutter together in order to separate the cutter into two parts. |

Step 2 – Remove and replace punch pinThen, remove the punch pin. Replace the old pin with the new one, ensuring that the spring is in the correct position. |

Step 3 – Reassemble cutterReassemble the cutter by aligning the blade and reinserting and tightening the screws. | |||
