Roofing bars are anodized. This means that a protective coating is applied to their aluminium parts. Anodizing is permanent finish, that will protect the roofing bar from corrosion throughout its life. | |||

Keep your roofing bar clean and dry by wiping it with a cloth after every use, and storing it indoors, preferably in a toolbox. Remember to only use your roofing bar to place battens, as per the manufacturer’s instructions, to ensure it will last for many years. | |||
