Once the mixing board has been used there is likely to be left-over material stuck to its face. Before the material dries, spray the board with water, using a pressure washer or hosepipe.
If the material dries on the mixing board it can be difficult to remove, so make sure you clean the board as soon as possible.
Storage
Some mixing boards have a hook that is used to hang the board when it is not in use.
Damage
Check to see if there is any damage to the board, such as cracks, before using it.
If it is damaged, materials may leak on to the surrounding work area, causing a mess and even staining.
If your mixing board is damaged and contains cracks, it will need to be replaced with a new one.
