Step 1 - Loosen the screw holding the blade or pilot drill in place  Using a screwdriver or hex wrench, loosen the screw used to secure the part in place.

Removing blade of tank cutters

Step 2 – Remove blade or pilot drill

Slide the blade or pilot drill out of the tank cutter.

Inserting new blade into tank cutter

Step 3 – Insert new blade or pilot drill

Carefully insert the new blade or pilot drill bit into the tank cutter.

If you are installing a new blade, the sharp point of the blade should be furthest from the pilot drill and pointing down. If you are installing a new blade, the sharp point of the blade should be furthest from the pilot drill and pointing down.
Step 4 - Lock the new blade or pilot drill in place  Retighten the adjusting screw to lock the new part in place.
