How to replace the cutting blade or pilot drill on your tank cutter?

Step 1 – Loosen screw
Using a screwdriver or hex wrench, loosen the screw used to secure the part in place. |

|
|
|
|
|

|
Step 2 – Remove blade or pilot drill
Slide the blade or pilot drill out of the tank cutter. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 3 – Insert new blade or pilot drill
Carefully insert the new blade or pilot drill bit into the tank cutter. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
If you are installing a new blade, the sharp point of the blade should be furthest from the pilot drill and pointing down. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
|
Step 4 – Lock new blade or pilot drill in place
Retighten the adjusting screw to lock the new part in place. |
