The plasterer’s brush consists of a rectangular body with steel pins extruding from it.
Body of plasterer’s brush
The wooden body of the plasterer’s brush is usually made from a single solid piece of beech which measures 190mm x 95mm.
Plasterer’s brush pins
The steel pins are pointed, like nails, and are positioned in diagonal lines. There are typically around 86 pins on a plasterer’s brush, in alternative five then four pin lines. They are made from hardened steel which means they are extra hard wearing.
Plasterer’s brush strap
The plasterer’s brush is equipped with a strap around the back, to slip your hand under. This makes the tool easier to control when in use and provides a means with which to carry it.
