When using a pipe dry testing kit, make sure you handle it carefully as it is a very delicate tool. The gauge contains tiny components that can easily become damaged or faulty if it is not handled correctly.
The pipe dry testing kit can become faulty or damaged over time, or through accidental damage. Although individual parts can be purchased, sometimes it may be cheaper to replace the entire testing kit.
After each use, place the pipe dry testing kit back into its case (if provided) or in a safe place to prevent any damage.
Only use the pipe dry testing kit on pipework during or just after installation. This type of testing kit is not appropriate for wet testing pipes.
Do not pressurise the system over the recommended amount as this could damage the kit.
