Basic lead ladles

Basic lead ladles are lightweight and usually right-handed. As the name suggests, this means that they are designed for use in your right hand.

Precision lead ladles

Due to their more compact size, precision lead ladles are designed for pouring small amounts of lead into moulds.

Bottom pour lead ladles

Bottom pour ladles collect molten lead, including any small impurities (dross) and pour only the purest lead from the spout.

They work well because lead is a heavy metal that sinks to the bottom whilst other lighter metals or impurities float on the top.

Casting lead ladles

A left and right handed lead ladle Casting lead ladles are made with two spouts, one on the right and one on the left, so that whether you are left or right-handed, you can pour easily.

Lead dippers

Lead dippers are specifically used for dipping into a molten lead pot to transfer the mixture to a mould. The small spout regulates the flow of lead so that it flows neatly into the small opening at the top of a mould.
