Some gas test gauges are supplied pre-filled with indicating fluid. However, some models require you to fill the u-tube of the gauge with manometer fluid or water.
How to fill the u-tube of your gauge
Step 1- Remove sealing cap
Remove the sealing cap from the top of the u-tube.
Step 2 – Fill u-tube with indicating fluid
Carefully pour the selected indicating fluid into the u-tube until the fluid level is at the 0 mbar mark on the scale.
Step 3 – Zero gauge
Adjust the scale by sliding it up or down using the zero adjuster until the fluid levels on both legs of the tube are precisely aligned with the 0 graduation.
