Plumber’s turnpin care and maintenance

As much as a turnpin is a simple tool, which requires little or no maintenance, you shouldn’t neglect any part of your tool kit, however small that tool may be.

Make an effort to put your tools away and try not to leave them outside. This will avoid your turnpin(s) being mislaid or left out for the dog to chew on!

If the turnpin becomes dirty it can easily be rinsed.

Leave it to dry before storing away. Although polypropylene does not absorb water, the moisture from a wet turnpin could damage other tools if stored together.
