It’s a great piece of kit and you’ll find that a lot of experienced welders will recommend this particular model above others because it’s such high-quality and easy to use. If you are interested to see where it ranks in compared to other top products available then read our Best MIG Welder Review.

Electric Millermatic 211 MIG Welder

The Miller company has been in business since 1929 and is based in Wisconsin, USA. They have been manufacturing and developing some of the best MIG welders on the market for nearly a century. Their latest masterpiece is the MIllermatic Electric 211 MIG Wedler, which is surprisingly one of the lightest welders available weighing only 38 pounds.

When we first tested the Millermatic 211 we couldn’t believe how well it performed just because it is so lightweight. We were also impressed with the usability of the model, making it suitable for amateurs and professionals alike. We do understand that it is a more premium MIG welder and we realise that it might not be in everyone’s budget, However, there is still value for money.

Features

The Millermatic will weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium (with the aid of a spool gun), plus it runs at dual voltage. In our opinion, it is better than the Hobart Handler due to the fact it can weld mild steel up to a thickness of 3/8 inches. It can also weld aluminium from 18 gauge to 3/8 inch and has the capability of using the flux core too.

Duty Cycle

At the 120 volt input, it can at 115 Amps giving a 20% duty cycle. 240 volt input, it runs at 150 Amps giving a 40% duty cycle.

Input Power

The Millermatic is can run at 120 and 240 volts.
